Location: Near Yeovil, Somerset
Pay: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)
Contract Type: Fixed-term (Maternity Cover) for 12 months, or until the post-holder returns from maternity leave, whichever is sooner
Start Date: February 2025

About the Early Years Teacher Role:
The school is seeking an enthusiastic, adaptable, and skilled Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) teacher to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering the EYFS curriculum and creating a stimulating learning environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and committed to building strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, all while maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning.

Creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment for young children
Planning and delivering a dynamic, child-centred curriculum
Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
Contributing to the success of the EYFS team
Taking on the role of EYFS Lead for Reception and Nursery in the absence of the current teacher (if applicable) Requirements of the Early Years Teacher Role:
Experience working within the Foundation Stage (EYFS)
A recognised Teaching or Early Years qualification
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to take initiative
Experience in delivering an engaging and stimulating learning environment
