Are you a nurturing and dedicated educator with experience supporting children with additional needs? We are currently working in partnership with a large, welcoming primary school in the Lancing area that is seeking an Individual Needs Assistant to join their supportive and inclusive team.

About the Role – What You’ll Be Doing:
As an Individual Needs Assistant, you will provide one-to-one or small-group support to pupils with a range of additional needs, including social, emotional, behavioural, communication, or learning difficulties. Your role will be to help each child engage with the curriculum and build the confidence and skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.
Your daily responsibilities may include:
Working closely with class teachers and the SENCO to implement personalised support plans
Supporting pupils to access their learning in a way that works for them
Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation through consistent, supportive strategies
Using creative resources and activities to engage and motivate learners
Tracking progress and providing feedback to staff and parents where appropriate
Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment
