Daniel Owen are proud to be representing a social housing company in Hertfordshire who are looking for a brand-new Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join their team.
The post holder will be responsible for a team of electrical engineers who carry out electrical testing & inspection (EICRs) and remedial works in social housing / local authority properties. They will be responsible for ensuring the work completed by their team is to specification, compliant with current regulations and to the standards required by the company. The role will be a mixture of working from the company offices in Hertford and mobile working (London & Surrounding Counties). The post holder is required to be a registered NICEIC Qualified Supervisor for the company.
Duties:
* Supervision of a team of electrical engineers
* On the job supervision visits to engineers
* Delivering toolbox talks
* Carry out electrical testing, inspection, installation and maintenance works as required
* Ensure safe working procedures in accordance with the current health and safety regulations and all other relevant regulations.
* Post inspections of work carried out by engineers
* Reviewing and signing off certification completed by engineers
* NICEIC registered Qualified Supervisor
* Training and developing engineers
* Work specifications
* Preparing quotations
* Interpret electrical / site drawings when necessary
* Communicate with clients, residents and colleagues when required
* Deliver exceptional customer service
* Adhere to any company policy
* To undertake any training provided by the company
* To Support any business change for the benefit of the company
* Any ad-hoc duties as reasonably instructed by your line manager or directors
Key Knowledge:
* City and Guilds NVQ level 3 electrotechnical qualification or equivalent
* AM2 practical assessment preferred
* Completed apprenticeship preferred
* City and Guilds 2391-51 or equivalent
* City and Guilds 2382-18 - BSth Edition update
