Are you an experienced HCPC registered Dietician seeking a new opportunity?
We are seeking a Clinical Specialist Nutrition Support Dietitian to join our dynamic and forward-thinking Community Nutrition and Dietetics team. This is a newly created role based on a successful model within our Allied Health Professional (AHP) teams, offering a fantastic opportunity to shape and develop specialist nutritional care in the community.
You will provide specialist nutritional care to patients requiring nutrition support, including those with complex tissue damage and frailty, across outpatient clinics, patients' own homes, and care/nursing homes. Working alongside an established Band 7 Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in clinical leadership, service development, supervision, and education while ensuring a high-quality, patient-focused service. The ideal candidate will be an HCPC-registered Dietitian with strong experience in nutrition support and enteral feeding, excellent clinical expertise.
Main duties of the job
As a Clinical Specialist Dietitian, you will:
* Provide specialist nutritional care to patients requiring nutrition support in community settings, including those with complex tissue damage and frailty.
* Work across outpatient clinics, patients' own homes, and care/nursing homes.
* Lead and contribute to service development, education, and clinical governance.
* Play a key role in the clinical leadership, supervision, and training of junior staff and students.

Knowledge
Essential
* Advanced clinical skills in all aspects of adult nutrition support.
* Specialist knowledge and clinical expertise relevant to clinical population.
* Evidence of advanced problem-solving skills.
Experience
Essential
* Previous NHS experience including working in an acute setting.
* Specialist working knowledge in HEF and advanced nutritional support.
* Advanced knowledge of community service.
Desirable
* Some knowledge of strategic service development.
Other/Contractual Requirements

* Able to travel to undertake work in community settings.
