Role Overview: As a Classroom Cover Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons in the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring that pupils stay on track and complete their work. You will also manage the classroom environment, ensuring students remain engaged and well-behaved. No teaching qualifications are required, and full training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across various subjects and year groups.
* Manage classroom behaviour and ensure students follow school policies.
* Support pupils’ learning and provide assistance as needed.
* Foster a productive learning environment and maintain discipline.
* Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure smooth transitions and consistent educational delivery.
Requirements:
* Right to work in the UK.
* Enhanced Child Only DBS (we will assist with obtaining this).
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) – assistance available for this process.
* Experience managing behaviour in a classroom setting (ideal but not mandatory).
