You will Be responsible for the provision of occupational therapy assessment, treatment and evaluation. You will provide visible and professional support to ensure the delivery of high quality patient care and rehabilitation aimed at improving or maintaining independence. Working with a caseload of patients with varying difficulties including complete health and social care needs; responding effectively to the changing needs of the patient caseload, managing the sometimes conflicting priorities of prevention of admission and discharge. Youll assess and order equipment as identified by patient need and allocate work to OT assistant or care staff as necessary. Establishing communication networks with other team members, patients and other health and social care agencies, attending joint visits with other professionals as required.
