Role Purpose Statement To win new business in the DCR & QSR Categories by working with Tier 2 Coffee & QSR Brands (Local & possibly some National) To support existing DCR accounts where required by DCR Category Lead Main Responsibilities New Business Development and Distributor Support Hunting Tier 2 Coffee & QSR accounts to identify current packaging ranges & preferred distribution route To sell Huhtamaki capabilities to supply a wide range of current packaging ranges from our own manufacturing, or via traded goods so that end user customers want to specify Huhtamaki products via their nominated distribution route Where no nominated or preferred distribution route to work with DCR Category Lead & Cup Print Sales lead to identify the best distributor to work with to support profitable supply of Huhtamaki ranges Showcase Huhtamaki NPD and new product ranges to end user customers to ensure they are aware and can specify where appropriate Where agreed by customer ensure that all relevant contacts are added to Mailing List to ensure they receive mail outs for all relevant updates To develop a network of contacts across target customers to ensure you are engaging with and promoting Huhtamaki across all relevant functions and departments Provide details of customer forecasts to relevant Demand Manager to ensure forecast accuracy is maximised through distributor partners in order to maximise supply chain and stock holding efficiency Prepare and send all customer quotes in a timely fashion Written visit reports for all customer meetings to be uploaded to Salesforce to ensure records are accurate and up to date Maintain an accurate log of customer contacts within Salesforce to support mailings/marketing activity where appropriate Maintain an up to date and accurate pipeline of opportunities in Salesforce to ensure that Category Lead and Head of Sales for the UK&I have full visibility. Ensure that all Opps & Risks in Salesforce are communicated to MU Demand Manager so that these are updated in Anaplan and Bi Analytics. To carry out Sales presentations to customer and internal stakeholders as required To achieve personal targets as outlined in the annual budget and to review these with Category Lead on a quarterly basis. To prepare a monthly presentation/report for the Category Lead outlining performance for period, year to date and highlighting any forthcoming initiatives, threats and opportunities. EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years’ experience dealing with end user customers in the Speciality Coffee & QSR sectors Proven success in identifying and securing new business. Experience within the foodservice industry. 2. EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS TRAINING Minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grade C or above, including English Language and Mathematics. Ideally hold a degree in a relevant discipline. 3. SKILLS AND SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE Selling and negotiation using a structured process Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Strong interpersonal skills and understanding of customer dynamics Engaging and persuasive presenter with the ability to build an immediate rapport A proven ability to undertake a wide range of activities to drive sales growth Creative approach Experienced at working in a Sales team and working with other departments to support Sales growth Passion for food and drink in out of home markets 4.
