An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Deputy Head of Nursing family and therapies to join Aneurin Bevan University Health Boards (ABUHB) Family and Therapies Division. The post holder will be responsible for operational management, compassionate leadership, and strategic development of a range of family and therapies services, including community, acute family care provision settings and Children adolescent mental health services the post holder will also lead on specific projects as directed by the Head of Nursing and Divisional Nurse. The successful candidate will be a key person in supporting the Patient Safety and Quality agenda and will be at the centre of professionally developing the nursing teams as part of integrated services in line with the ABUHB strategic direction. The post holder will hold a NMC registration and a recognised Masters Level qualification, and will be able to demonstrate a sound clinical knowledge of family and therapies services. The ability to travel within the geographical area of Aneurin Bevan University Health Board and participate in the Sliver on call for Aneurin Bevan University Health Board The post holder will deputise for the Head of Nursing as appropriate and will be responsible for the operational management, leadership, and strategic development of a range of family and therapies nursing services across the division. To provide professional and managerial support within the Division and will lead in the development of clinical service and nursing practice from a strategic and operational perspective. In addition to this role, the post holder will be a key person in supporting the Divisional Risk, Patient Safety and Quality agenda and safeguarding. The post holder will lead on specific projects as directed by the Head of Nursing family and Therapies and the Divisional Nurse. This includes education and professional development whilst providing operational and strategic support across a range of issues. This role will be at the center of developing the nursing team as part of the integrated services in line with the ABUHB strategic direction. The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
