Hours: 10.5 hours per week until 31st August 2025, hours will be reviewed annually
Teaching hours: 255 per annum actual, 850 full time equivalent

About the role:
The Sport and UPS Department is a thriving department within the City of Portsmouth College. We are looking for a subject specialist to deliver on the L3 Elite Football programme.
Key Responsibilities:
* To teach on a range of programmes, providing high-quality learning opportunities that meet the needs of individual students/apprentices.
* To provide flexible assessment opportunities and monitor, track and record student/apprentice retention, achievement, and success.
* To contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality, relevant curriculum and programmes, including:
o Actively contributing to the development of new programmes within the curriculum area
o Producing annual schemes of work and/or training plans for all subjects/programmes to be taught
To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:
* UEFA B License to coach football, preferably working towards UEFA A
* Teaching Qualification or willingness to work towards
* Ability to meet targets within set timescales
* Ability to work well in teams and independently
* Demonstrate a sound understanding of the technical, tactical and practical application of techniques associated with football
