What you'll do
We're recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to join our Consumer Finance team at Vodafone UK.
You will be the Business Partner for our Pay Monthly (PAYM) area which is responsible for the largest P&L within the Consumer business and the heart of the growth plan for the area. You will be responsible for the comprehensive understanding and presentation of revenue, margin, and operational performance.
Wider responsibilities will also include:
* Understand the financial performance of our Consumer business and provide insight to key stakeholders to drive future performance.
* Maintain Risks & Opportunities register, keeping close alignment with segments and communicating to Head of Consumer Finance and the Mobile leadership team.
* Budget setting and forecasting cycles for the Consumer Contract P&L - this includes leading on presentations and backup analysis for Group CEO and CFO reviews.
* Co-ordinate month end across the team - commentary & analysis, relevant reporting packs and actions follow up.
* Communicate results to senior stakeholders in the Mobile business unit in a timely manner.
* Collaborate with partner teams to develop existing reporting with a view to improving the level of insight and suitability.
Who you are
* Aptitude for building relationships and influencing all levels of seniority across functions.
* Demonstrable Commercial Finance experience.
* Fully qualified preferred (CIMA, ACA, ACMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Highly proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly MS Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
* Professional presentation & communication skills, with and ability to interpret and explain complex information.
* Resilient and delivery-focused, with competence in prioritising multiple stakeholder-demands.
