Job Description
We are currently looking for an experienced Despatch Shift Leader for our dynamic site in Dungannon.
Working Hours: Rotating shifts
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 7pm-7am
Week 2: Wednesday & Thursday 7pm-7am
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensuring the timely despatch of quality products which meet production needs and Customer Specification.
* Achieving profit and performance targets.
* Maintaining a level of budgetary control, Labour, Despatch on Time & Customer Service Levels.
* Management and development of team under direct control.
* Maintaining and ensuring Quality, Hygiene and productivity standards are upheld in the production environment.
* Liaising with all appropriate departments to ensure maximum efficiency and quality.
The Despatch Shift Leader should drive continuous improvement to maximise operational effectiveness and efficiencies through the development of people, processes, and systems, enhancing the group, mission vision, and values.
You will need:
* Good standard of education.
* Able to work shifts.
* Understanding of targets and KPI reporting.
* Computer literate.
* Good organisational skills.
* Leadership/Supervisory experience within a food manufacturing environment.
* Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
* Good attention to detail.
* NVQ Level 4 - Desirable.
* Modern apprenticeship - Desirable.
* FMCG experience - Desirable.
