How will you make an impact? Based at our UK Head Office in Leeds, you will have close collaboration with internal stakeholders at all levels, and gain a unique insight into Arla Foods’ business across units and functions. Here, you will initially be responsible for the Milk Balancing of dairies across the UK, balancing available milk and capacity with the demand. You will play a decisive role ensuring that we apply and use our milk and capacities optimally from a global perspective. In this role you will be responsible for: · Forecasting milk supply, working in close collaboration with our agriculture team in the UK · Managing the UK milk pools, matching milk supply, demand and capacity in an optimal way · Acting as the coordinating link between production planners, Arla’s milk collection and distribution logistics function and other key stakeholders · Prepare material and analysis for the monthly Sales & Operation Planning process · Take active part in optimizing our planning overview in Power BI What will you need to succeed? Your natural flair for IT positively contributes to optimizing our ways of working together with a solid understanding of different supply chain activities, processes and tools. You are able to retain a service oriented approach and show excellent stakeholder management skills, whilst remaining calm under pressure. Further, you will ideally: · Hold a degree either within Economics, Supply Chain Management or similar education, and have preferably been working with planning and logistics for a few years · Possess strong IT skills, with an emphasis on Excel and Power BI tools (training on Power BI will be available if needed) · Be comfortable working within a matrix organization, both cross functionally and globally · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal What can we offer?
