A well-established, local client is looking for a highly organised Workshop Administrator to join their team due to continued growth within the business on an initial temporary basis, with potential to lead to a long-term, permanent opportunity.
This is a fantastic role for an experienced Administrator who wants to make a real impact and grow with a thriving company. You'll work closely with the Service team to coordinate repairs, ensure smooth workshop operations, and deliver top-notch customer service.
Salary: £13.33 - £14.36 per hour (£26,000 - £28,000)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.00pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Location: Office-based
Availability: Due to the urgency of the role, candidates must be immediately available or within 1 week's notice
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Booking workshop repairs and assigning work to engineers
2. Liaising with parts team to check stock/order parts
3. Updating CRM system and logging all relevant information
4. Communicating with customers and keeping them informed
5. Liaising with and building relationships with 3rd party suppliers
6. Quoting and sending out repair costs
7. Sending out invoices once jobs are completed
Skills and Experience:
1. Extensive experience in an administrative role is essential
2. Knowledge of the automotive sector would be preferred
3. Strong organisational skills with good time management
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. Ability to problem solve and make decisions under pressure
6. Portrays enthusiasm and ambition to learn and develop
7. Confident working as part of a team
8. Takes a positive, proactive approach
9. IT proficient, with good knowledge of MS Office and experience using a CRM system
