Falls Prevention Instructor Contract: Fixed-term Maternity cover contract up to April 2026 Location: Chester (brio Northgate and community venues) Hours: 9 hours per week Salary: 6 hours delivery at £30 per hour/3 hours admin at £12.65 per hour Closing Date: Thursday 24th April 2025 Interview Date: Proposed date of Friday 2nd May 2025 As a Falls Prevention instructor, you will support Brio's mission to improve community health and wellbeing in alignment with Cheshire West and Chester Council’s ‘Play Your Part Towards a Stronger Future’ Plan. Through our Integrated Wellbeing programme, you will empower individuals to make positive changes, reduce health inequalities, and enhance their quality of life. You will play a vital role in delivering Brio’s Falls Prevention Programme in alignment with Cheshire West and Chester Council’s Integrated Wellbeing Service objectives. You will provide structured, evidence-based exercise sessions aimed at improving strength, balance, and overall functional ability for older adults at risk of falls. The role involves programme delivery, client engagement, and fostering long-term physical activity habits that enhance independence and quality of life.
