Are you a proactive and hardworking individual with experience in both warehouse and office duties? We are looking for a Warehouse and Office Assistant to join a small but dynamic team based in Maidenhead.
This is a varied role, offering the opportunity to be involved in daily operations and contribute to the smooth running of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Service: Serve customers on the trade counter, process payments, and assist with order picking.
2. Warehouse Duties: Pick, pack, and organise customer orders, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
3. Stock Management: Check goods in, maintain stock rotation, and ensure correct bin locations.
4. Vehicle Handling: Assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
5. Sales Administration: Process customer orders, manage invoicing, credits, and quotes.
6. Stock Control & Purchasing: Assist in managing inventory and stock replenishment.
7. General Duties: Work both independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and self-motivation. Strong communication skills are essential.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
2. Skills: Good communication, organisational, and customer service skills.
3. Attributes: Self-motivated, team-oriented, and flexible with a strong attention to detail.
