A Manufacturing and Production client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Warranty Analyst to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Thursday 8.15am - 5.00pm and Friday 8:15am - 4:45pm with every other Friday off. Paying between £30,000 - £35,000 per annum depending on experience.
Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager, key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Reviewing and processing warranty claims consulting with service/engineering departments as necessary
2. Preparing and reporting the departments KPI's through scheduled data extracts
3. Using data analytics as the basis for business change; presenting evidence-based recommendations for improvements to design & manufacture of our products
4. Managing the warranty returns process, including communications with dealers and suppliers about product returning for investigation
5. Managing warranty registrations, ensuring appropriate documentation is stored to validate warranty periods
6. Auditing & training our dealer partners (local and abroad) on warranty processes to minimise the negative impact of vehicle faults to our customers.
7. Supervising warranty interns during their annual placement
8. Taking on specific projects as requested & other duties as required in the daily running of the customer care department.
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Warranty Analyst position:
9. Educated to degree level or equivalent in a business/finance field desirable
10. Excellent communication skills
11. Experience working independently as this is a sole role
12. Ability to summarise and communicate results from large amounts of data both visually and in words
13. Previous experience in an Analyst or Warranty Administrator role.
14. Ability to analyse and compile necessary data, then present recommendations to management
15. Proficient in Microsoft based applications and IT literate
16. Ability to work well under time pressure
17. Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite is desirable
