Key Responsibilities: Planning and Execution: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, ensuring alignment across all project phases from concept to completion. Oversee control programmes, contract evaluations, compensation events, delay analysis, and drive schedule optimisation with supply chain collaboration. Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary planning team, fostering talent development and upholding performance excellence. Contribute to creating and refining planning standards and coaching team members to reach their potential. Programme Assurance: Assist in trend analysis, risk management, and change processes to boost efficiency and programme outcomes. Ensure rigorous adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards, striving for excellence in these areas. Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate complex ideas effectively to diverse stakeholders, bridging technical aspects with strategic objectives. Desired Skills and Experience: Proven track record as a Senior Planner in large-scale (£50M) infrastructure projects within construction or related sectors. Extensive experience with Primavera P6 and a strong understanding of commercial and contractual elements. Leadership experience, including team management and coaching capabilities. Expertise in working on projects within live environments. Excellent problem-solving and innovative thinking skills, with a flexible and adaptable approach to challenges.
