Role
This is a first / second jobber role that involves selling the companies full range of Timber building products. The company import products in from Scandinavia. In this position you will be selling into wood processing/sawmilling companies in the UK. This individual will be office based 2 days per week, then working from home/on the road 3 days per week. It is more likely that you will be more office based in the first 3 months. This individual will receive thorough training throughout all departments with a clear path to becoming a territory sales manager. Upon completion of probation, this individual will inherit a ledger of smaller/lapsed accounts to manage and grow – working alongside the existing field sales team of 2 senior Sales Executives. As part of the ongoing training/development commitment the company offer they will invest heavily in supplying training of the products in more depth over in Scandinavia. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a sales career with a wonderful business. You need to be based in either Cambridgeshire, North Essex, North Hertfordshire or West Suffolk.

My client is looking for an up and coming sales individual out who has ideally 1-2 years of sales experience be that internal or external. Naturally any relation to timber is advantageous however they will consider any sales experience including construction, FMCG, recruitment, Estate Agency etc. You need to be bright, engaging, inquisitive, mouldable, and comfortable working with CRM systems, data entry, emails etc. You really need to be very much on the way up and want to develop a field sales career
