The key responsibilities and duties of the Production Control Coordinator include, but are not limited to:
1. Ensure on-time delivery of parts and adherence to turnaround times for LRUs
2. Drive LEAN process improvements
3. Oversee logistics to support smooth operations
4. Ensure timely movement of components through production
5. Identify and address part shortages 7–10 days in advance
6. Maintain compliance with CAA, FAA, and regulatory standards
7. Manage staffing levels to meet operational needs
8. Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards
9. Continuously improve processes for efficiency
10. Support industrial relations and company representation
11. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and company policies
12. Provide training as needed
The ideal Candidate should meet the following requirements:
Education and Qualifications
13. GCSE or Equivalent
14. Degree or Equivalent in a relevant subject (Desirable)
15. Apprenticeship (Desirable)
Experience and Knowledge
16. 2 years’ experience working in a similar position would be desirable
17. Previous Airline Industry knowledge would be advantageous
18. Good understanding of excel and word packages
