Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Systemic Family Therapist to join our dedicated multi-disciplinary Community Eating Disorder Team. North East London NHS Foundation Trust Community Eating Disorder service offers the latest in evidence-based NICE compliant psychological interventions to clients and their families with an Eating Disorder. The team’s multi-disciplinary approach to the assessment and treatment of individuals with an eating disorder is a real strength. The post holder will primarily work with Children and Young people, their family and caregivers; however, opportunities will be available to work across the lifespan.
Main Duties of the Job
The successful applicant will work effectively within a multi-disciplinary context and will ideally have experience in working with children and young people with eating disorders and their families. We will support candidates to develop skills in delivering treatment in line with NICE guidelines.
Qualifications
* Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology or equivalent professional qualification/registration (e.g., MSc in Family Therapy)
* Professional Registration in accordance with JD
* Professional Qualification to Masters level or above
* Extensive experience in eating disorders
Experience
* Experience of working in CYP Mental health services
* Trained in family-based interventions
* Experience of working in community eating disorder service
