Under the leadership of our experienced Care Home Manager, Tracey, who has been with us for over 10 years, we foster a supportive and positive environment for both residents and staff.
We’re currently looking for a Chef to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of our catering service, preparing fresh, home-cooked meals from scratch, ensuring that every meal is nutritious, appetizing, and tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents. Your culinary skills will play an important role in providing residents with a sense of comfort and enjoyment through the food you create.
As a Chef at our home, your role may involve:
Preparing and cooking fresh, home-cooked meals daily for our residents
Delivering high standards of culinary excellence with well-balanced, nutritious meals
Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times
Contributing to menu planning and ensuring meals meet the dietary needs of our residents
Complying with all health, safety, and food hygiene standards

What are we looking for?
Proven experience in a busy kitchen environment, ideally with experience in catering for large groups
A passion for cooking fresh, wholesome meals, from scratch, using quality ingredients
A friendly and enthusiastic attitude, with the ability to work well within a team
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks
NVQ level 2 in food hygiene (preferred)
