This role is to Manage our team of porters to make sure everything is running smoothly. That means you'll update function sheets, to check for any last-minute changes, and follow up, by making sure the room set ups are "just what our guest has ordered". As well as that, you'll be hands on. You'll meet and greet our guests as you help them unload their luggage, making them feel they're in capable hands. So, you really are the welcoming face of the business. Among other things, you'll carry bags from cars to guest accommodation, set up rooms and equipment for conferences and move furniture. You will be organising customers collections and drop offs from airports or train stations as well as offering on resort transport. In other down time you will be responsible for cleaning the vehicles inside and out weekly as well as liaising with the transport manager on repairs of the vehicles.
So, if you're friendly, have a welcoming smile and genuinely love the hospitality business, we'd love to hear from you.
We have staff accommodation for our team members too, so you'll help us with the running and upkeep of the rooms.
Ideally, you'll have previous management experience in a customer service role. You'll certainly have some track record of leading small teams. A keen eye for detail is a must. As you'll drive our guests on and off the Estate, you'll be over 21 with a clean driver's licence.
Hours will include evenings and weekends between the hours of 06.00 and 01:00 depending on the needs of the business.
Driving Licence is essential.
