We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our supportive team starting in January 2025. Role Overview: As an Art Teacher, you will: Teaching and Curriculum: Deliver inspiring and creative art lessons to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with the possibility of teaching A-Level Art for the right candidate. Create and adapt curriculum materials to meet students' diverse needs, ensuring they have access to a broad range of artistic experiences. Foster creativity and self-expression, encouraging students to explore various artistic media and techniques in a supportive environment. Student Progress: Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive, encouraging feedback to help students grow both academically and personally. Use assessment data to inform teaching, providing individualized support to ensure every student’s needs are met and they reach their full potential. Professional Development: Engage in reflective practice and contribute to the continuous development of the Art department and the wider school community. Participate in extracurricular activities, school events, and initiatives to enhance the student experience and promote the importance of the arts in school life. Candidate Requirements: Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). A Bachelor’s degree in Art, Fine Art, Design, or a related discipline (desirable). Experience: Experience teaching Art at secondary school level, with a solid understanding of the national curriculum.
