Role Overview
Sodexo is currently seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 for Cambridge Hospital located in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Cambridge Hospital is a part of the Cambridge Health Alliance System based in the Boston Area. The manager will oversee a team of 40 hourly hospital employees and 2 Sodexo managers.
What You'll Do
* Have oversight of day-to-day operations, including interaction with patients, nursing staff, and customers.
* Manage monthly inventory and handle weekly Sysco ordering.
* Oversee training for all staff members.
* Manage food safety and sanitation compliance.
* Achieve company and client financial targets and goals.
* Oversee patient tray assessments.
* Ensure all Sodexo and hospital standards are met.

Qualifications & Requirements
Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience - 2 years. Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
