Kepak Mclntosh Donald are looking for a Hygiene Operative (night shift) to join our team on a full-time basis, working Monday to Friday,40hrs/week, 6pm - 3am (with 2 x 30mins break). Pay starting at £11.63 per hour. Job Purpose Responsible for ensuring that the standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the production environment is achieved on a daily basis, ensuring safe use of industrial cleaning equipment at all times. Key Responsibilities Ensuring cleaning of all Industrial machinery, tools, and equipment is carried to the highest standard Cleaning of factory floors, walls, work surfaces and production lines within allocated area Safe use of industrial pressure washers and cleaning equipment Safe use of cleaning materials and chemicals, in line with training Maintain and safely operate tools, equipment, and chemicals Adhering to cleaning instructions and schedules, to ensure tasks meet the required hygiene standards Maintain Industrial Hygiene Standards Completion of daily cleaning tasks, and completion of all relevant documentation and checklists Maintain to Health and Safety Standards Actively participate in all required company training Complying with Company’s health and safety rules, and hygiene requirements Carry out any other duties as directed Any other duties as required by management and within the competency of the post holder Requirements Experience working within an Industrial Cleaning Environment preferred Able to work in both chilled and warm environments Manual handling ability and awareness, must be fit and able Meticulous attention to detail essential Commitment to good practice Fluent English, Communicate well in written and oral form with multi-nationals on all levels Ability to multitask and work under own initiative to deliver to deadlines Relationship builder with influencing skills Strong team player Flexible approach to working and committed to night shifts and potential weekend working Benefits Eligibility for the Performance Bonus after 3 months of continuous service Overtime rate of time and a half applies when you work over 44 hours/week Training and development 31 days annual leave per year (after probation) Subsidised canteen 25% Discount in our Butcher Shop Values awards program Refer a friend scheme Employee assistance program Cycle to work scheme Discounts in well known retailers Pension plans Life assurance
