An inspirational professional is sought to lead Claregate Primary School into our next chapter after the retirement of a long-standing Headteacher in August 2025.

Our new Headteacher will bring us visionary leadership and build on current successes through establishing effective relationships with staff, pupils, and the governing board, ensuring our school continues to grow and thrive. We are looking for a leader who will promote a curriculum that challenges pupils of all abilities in a flexible yet structured way. You will need to be proactive about ensuring all pupils achieve the highest possible academic, pastoral, artistic, and sporting outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Need the passion to drive a curriculum that encourages our pupils and staff to achieve way beyond their expectations
* Have an in-depth knowledge of current educational priorities, curriculum, pedagogy, and safeguarding
* Have experience of promoting equality, inclusion, and diversity
* Be able to demonstrate a proven track record of leading a team of highly motivated, caring, and professional staff
* Be someone who aspires to be a role model for the children who enjoy coming to school each day.
