Senior Project Manager (Defence) Location: Corsham, UK About Us: Join a leading specialist software consultancy focused on delivering bespoke solutions to complex operational challenges in the Defence sector. With significant growth in our Defence division, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to take charge of one of our high-profile projects within our Defence Team. Role Location: You can choose to work from any of our six UK offices (including Bristol, Cheltenham & London) or from home. However, the role requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week onsite at Corsham, working directly with our Defence customer. The Opportunity: As a seasoned Senior Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role within our Defence team, spearheading a large-scale technology refresh project. Your leadership will be instrumental in high-level planning, ensuring project deliverables meet stringent quality standards, and maintaining an exceptional level of performance from both the project and team perspectives. Key responsibilities include: Ensuring project delivery aligns with the agreed cost, timescale, quality, and scope. Managing and nurturing relationships with customers and partners. Providing strong leadership and direction to the project team. Overseeing supplier partners' delivery and resolving any issues promptly. Effectively communicating and facilitating discussions with stakeholders and key customers. Adopting and tailoring appropriate delivery methods and tools to specific project needs. Continuously reviewing progress and adjusting delivery methods as required. Reporting on project status and escalating issues when necessary. Actively participating in the delivery community, sharing best practices, mentoring others, and striving to improve our delivery processes. Solid commercial awareness, including budget tracking, risk management, and forecasting. A demonstrated ability to build and maintain high-performing teams.Due to the sensitive nature of our work, the successful candidate must be able to obtain high-level security clearance.
