The role
We are seeking a Senior Partnership Manager to lead and manage strategic partnerships within the tech and ESG space, fostering key relationships across global markets. In this role, you will develop and expand Sedex’s partner network by identifying, onboarding, and supporting trade associations, consultancies, audit firms, tech companies, and mid-market resellers. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will drive growth, enhance collaboration, and maximize partner success to align with Sedex’s broader ESG goals and business objectives.
Key responsibilities
1. Strategic Partner Growth & Market Expansion:
o Identify, onboard, and nurture key global partners to drive business growth and expand Sedex’s presence across various sectors, including tech, consultancy, and mid-market resellers.
o Develop and execute strategies to grow Sedex’s global partner network, ensuring alignment with ESG and SaaS goals while expanding reach in key markets.
o Collaborate with sales teams and regional leadership to align partner strategies with Sedex’s revenue and market expansion objectives globally.
2. Partner Onboarding, Enablement & Performance Management:
o Implement comprehensive onboarding processes for new partners, ensuring they are equipped to leverage Sedex’s offerings to maximize their success.
o Provide training and enablement programs to partners, empowering them to drive sales and deliver superior customer satisfaction.
o Monitor and manage partner performance globally, using data-driven insights to track sales growth and develop strategies to enhance partner success and revenue generation.
3. Collaboration & Relationship Building:
o Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with strategic partners across different regions, aligning on mutual goals to drive growth and innovation.
o Collaborate on joint initiatives, co-branded campaigns, and go-to-market strategies with partners to expand market presence and enhance Sedex’s platform offerings.
o Work closely with consultancies, audit firms, and tech companies to offer integrated solutions that align with ESG goals.
4. Partner Programs, Incentives & Industry Engagement:
o Design and implement global partner programs, including training, marketing, and incentives, to drive partner engagement and sales success.
o Represent Sedex at international industry events and conferences to build relationships, promote our offerings, and establish Sedex as a thought leader in the ESG space.
o Ensure alignment between partner programs and company objectives, tracking performance and delivering measurable results.
o Collaborate with global sales teams to align partner activities with Sedex’s overall sales strategy and regional priorities.
o Facilitate effective communication and coordination across global teams to streamline efforts and maximize impact on sales and market penetration.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* 7+ years of experience in partnership management or business development, ideally in the technology or ESG space.
* Proven track record of building successful partnerships with trade associations, consultancies, audit firms, tech companies, and resellers.
* Experience in the SaaS industry or similar tech-driven business models is highly preferred.
* Strong understanding of ESG principles and how they intersect with business, supply chains, and technology solutions.
* Ability to communicate complex technical and ESG concepts to diverse audiences, including C-level executives, partners, and industry groups.
* Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
* A results-driven mindset, with a focus on achieving business outcomes through partnerships.
* Experience working with mid-market resellers and understanding their sales strategies and challenges.
