We are recruiting a Business and Operations Manager at Caerphilly County Borough Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Team Caerphilly and provide support across the wider Regeneration Team.
We pay an attractive salary of £37,938 - £40,476 pro rata and offer access to training and development opportunities.
Blackwood Miners Institute has an opportunity for an experienced manager to ensure the highest standards of service in this historic theatre and arts venue.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in this critically important role as we need to ensure that its reputation for high quality shows and events is sustained through a period of transition into an independent charity. You will be responsible for the smooth operation of the theatre, and ensuring Blackwood Miners’ Institute is a safe, welcoming and vibrant space for visitors, audiences and artists, ensuring the highest levels of customer service at all times.
The post-holder will be expected to work evenings and weekends as per the nature of the role.
For the role, we ask that you have:
A relevant Level 4 qualification on the Credit and Qualifications Framework for Wales (CQFW).
Problem solving skills and the ability to use initiative and make decisions.
Financial management experience including experience of managing budgets and income targets.
A Flexibility and a positive attitude towards continuous improvement.
