Your Role: ✔️ Work closely with the class teacher to support a specific pupil’s learning and development. ✔️ Act as a mentor and role model, ensuring the pupil stays engaged and on track. ✔️ Provide assistance during lessons and, when required, during lunchtime. ✔️ Proactively manage challenges, using de-escalation strategies where necessary. ✔️ Build a strong, supportive relationship with the pupil, setting clear expectations. ✔️ Encourage social interaction and promote inclusivity within the classroom. What We’re Looking For: ✅ A positive, patient, and energetic approach. ✅ The ability to adapt and take initiative in challenging situations. ✅ Strong communication skills and a passion for working with children. ✅ Experience in a special educational needs (SEN) setting is desirable. ✅ The ability to stay calm under pressure while providing motivation and encouragement. ✅ Fluency in Welsh is essential.
