The School and Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team for the summer term. This is an exciting opportunity to support children in their learning and development at a crucial stage in their education. Are you equipped to assist with lesson preparation for SEN children, helping to get children ready to participate, pay attention, and contribute. The school in Oldham will require you to provide one-on-one support for SEN students as they work in small groups with varying needs. Manage classroom activities, ensuring a positive understanding of the classroom boundaries are vital skills needed.
Requirements:
The requested skillset for a SEN Teaching Assistant
Previous experience working with children in an educational setting.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with children.
Enthusiasm for supporting children's learning and growth.
Good understanding of SEN needs and curriculum.
A caring, patient approach with children.
