Do you have evidence of continuing professional development within an Urgent Care setting with Minor Injury knowledge and qualifications and proven Emergency Department, Minor Injury Unit or Urgent Treatment Centre experience at Band 5 or band 6? Person Specification
Qualifications
* Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Nurse or HCPC registered Paramedic, Specialist Paramedic with ECP Module or demonstrable CPD at degree, masters level in minor injury and or minor illness.
* Emergency Practitioner course at level 3 or Masters level.
* Teaching qualification, equivalent, or willingness to undertake.
* Demonstrable evidence of continuing professional development at Degree / Diploma level.
* Completion of physical assessment and clinical reasoning module (or equivalent).
* Up to date BLS paediatric and adult qualification.
* People, and Manual, Handling qualifications.
* Risk assessment and conflict resolution training.
* Up to date Immediate Life Support paediatric and adult qualification.
* Facilitating and assessing workplace learning module (or equivalent).
Experience
* Experience in an emergency care setting e.g. ED, MIU, Primary Care, some of which ideally should be as autonomous practitioner.
* Evidence of use of PGDs or willingness to develop.
* Evidence of innovative and flexible approach to care and its organisation.
* Demonstrate professional development and experience.
