An established Armagh based business is recruiting an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the accounting function of the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for all financial aspects of the company and will form part of the management team who will be responsible for strategic development and planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all financial aspects of our business including day to day processes - e.g. sales invoices, purchase invoices, monthly statements, VAT, PAYE, credit control, Intrastat, etc.
* Efficient management of our working capital i.e. debtors, creditors, banks, and stock levels.
* Deal with Import/Export regulatory requirements.
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and associated reports.
* Preparation and monitoring of budgets and cash flow forecasts.
* Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and sign off with auditors.
* Development of cost awareness and efficiencies in all areas of our business.
* Proactively assist with strategic management decisions.
* Participate in special projects e.g. new ERP System installation.
Skills Required:
* Experience managing day to day accounts in a sales business.
* Excellent IT and business systems knowledge.
* Sound financial and fiscal skills.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Proven business management acumen.
This role offers an opportunity to be centrally involved in the management of a busy sales business with ambitious plans in place for further expansion. Although the primary responsibility of the role will involve managing the accounting function, this position would ideally suit a commercially minded candidate who can use their all-round business ability and experience to substantially contribute to the further success of the business.
