Role Summary :This role involves working on delegated authority for a major network, focusing on building in-house relationships, quoting new business cases, and managing a large broker panel. Key Responsibilities : Managing Renewals and New Business : Enhance your expertise in handling renewals and new business, using Acturis CRM. Underwriting and Relationship Building : Spend 60% of your time on underwriting and 40% on relationship building, ensuring a balanced and dynamic work experience. Broker Panel Management : Work with a large broker panel to keep income within the group. Training and Development : Benefit from a 3-4 week induction focusing on care, medical malpractice, and PI care environments, followed by on-the-job training to develop an underwriting licence. Requirements : Sound Commercial Experience : in a commercial insurance role (Account Handler / Account Executive / Broker). BDE or Account Exec Experience : Proven experience in a BDE or account executive type role. Wholesale Experience : Understanding of wholesale dealing with brokers.
