The Data Operations team is a newly established capability with a comprehensive, Pan-BBC mandate. Their mission is to foster an agile mindset, implement effective ways of working, and drive operational excellence in data across the BBC.
Main Responsibilities
As a Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be an Expert Individual Contributor reporting into our Head of Data Operations. Responsibilities include:
1. Lead various initiatives across the Data Strategy portfolio, managing the end-to-end delivery process from project initiation to successful completion.
2. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, promoting transparency, collaboration, and innovation.
3. Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and impediments.
4. Ensure stakeholder commitments are met, documenting and communicating changes to expectations.
5. Champion agile best practices, providing coaching and mentorship to teams.
6. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including senior management, product managers, and development teams.
