Title: Growth Marketing Manager / Digital Marketing Manager – Consumer Finance

I’m working with a rapidly growing Finance company who have just received a multi-million pound VC investment and are looking for a Digital Marketing Contractor with broad digital/performance marketing experience to lead their digital acquisition strategy.
This role will lead the digital marketing activities for several Consumer Financial Services products, including their instalment loans as well as large single-item finance products. This role will primarily be responsible for the management and development of lead generation of new customers covering Search, affiliate & aggregator channels predominantly as well as providing insights and recommendations for the Digital Marketing strategy.
They are looking for a tenacious Digital Marketing Manager/Growth Marketing who is looking for a challenging role, they have a great foundation but need someone to build upon it. They are in an incredibly competitive space so they have to be incredibly agile and be constantly out manoeuvring their competition. This role will focus on the delivery of performance marketing with a strong focus on PPC, Affiliates and working with Aggregators. You will need great communication and relationship-building skills as you will be working with multiple internal teams plus our external agency and media partners. You will also be responsible for the development and success of our team of digital specialists.
This role requires an analytical thinker keen on monitoring ROI, who can bring ideas and have the drive to see both large and small projects through to fruition.
The company is rapidly expanding and keen to invest in digital. As part of the digital team, you will champion the value of Digital work with stakeholders to enable growth across the business.
The role will be based in their Milton Keynes offices – 2 days per week (Wednesday & another day in the week) and be responsible for:
1. Monitor, measure and report on our digital marketing metrics and insights across multiple brands and products, and identify key areas for improvement.
2. Report on digital marketing KPIs, relative to strategy and budget requirements and targets.
3. Continually identify new opportunities along the consumer journey for greater optimisation, with an understanding and appreciation of the CX and UX.
4. Direct and manage the creation of advertising copy and sales journey content to increase digital brand awareness and drive sales conversion.
5. Ability to think out-of-the-box to develop concepts and tactics to manage and grow the affiliate and aggregator channels.
6. Able to conduct competitive research and analyse benchmarking data.
7. Responsible for digital remarketing, loyalty and repeat sales.
8. Ensure digital marketing processes are fully GDPR compliant at all times.
9. Work closely with corporate sales teams to identify and act on opportunities in the digital B2B2C space.
10. Work with the Group Head of Marketing to develop and implement effective process changes to improve the organisation’s ability to deliver effective customer-centric, omni-channel sales experiences, with a focus on digital.

The Digital Marketing Manager role requires the following experience:
1. A passionate expert in digital marketing with extensive expertise in optimising lead generation channels through affinity, affiliate, aggregator and other channels.
2. Demonstrable experience in awareness, demand and lead generation campaign planning, development and tactical execution.
3. An in-depth understanding of PPC, social, display, marketing automation, nurturing programmes, targeting and segmentation would be ideal.
4. An analytical person with a passion for performance. Able to identify, measure and manage the key drivers to ensure digital performance against targets.
5. A confident and independent worker, with the ability to proactively identify the needs of the customer and implement effective improvement.
6. A hands-on / can-do approach, and capable of building effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
7. A proven ability to identify, and manage projects to improve lead generation, lead flow, and conversion.
