ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR
Temporary (maternity cover), part-time, term-time only
(39 weeks per year)
Hours: 9.30am to 2.30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £13,903.72 per annum (FTE £26,288), rising to £14,294.05 (FTE £27,026 per annum).
The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Enrichment Coordinator to coordinate the enrichment and activities programme. The successful applicant will play a key role in supporting the administration and delivery of our extensive enrichment programme.
The post holder will be responsible for the College’s enrichment and activities programme which promote the social and broader education beyond formal academic studies, including activities, clubs, recreational sport and community initiatives.
Responsibilities include:
1. Researching potential enrichment opportunities
2. Conducting risk assessments
3. Promoting the enrichment programme
4. Encouraging student participation
They will work closely with the Sports and Duke of Edinburgh Award Coordinators. The post is supported by the Enrichment Assistant.
The successful applicant will have excellent organisational skills, together with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable, according to the priorities of the College. They will have excellent organisational, interpersonal and IT skills. The role includes a requirement to be a College First Aider and to respond to issues as required.
This role is a balance of administrative work and direct interaction with students, making confidence in engaging with young adults essential.
The post carries an expectation for some occasional mandatory evening activities (Open Evenings). However, there are numerous optional opportunities for evening work (Interview Evenings for Students) should the post holder be interested in them for additional remuneration.
