Salary: £80,000 - £100,000 plus bonus and £5319 London Weighting, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: Office Base is London Television Centre. This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working

THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic finance professional to lead the forecasting, budgeting, and financial management processes for Productions. This role will oversee the consolidation of actuals, manage HQ costs, and support strategic projects while partnering with key stakeholders to drive financial and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning & Forecasting
* Lead the forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning process for Productions, ensuring robust and accurate financial plans align with the company's strategic goals.
* Continuously refine planning models and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
* Provide financial analysis and recommendations to senior leadership based on trends and forecasts.
Financial Reporting & Risk Management
* Oversee the consolidation of Production actuals during month-end close, ensuring accurate submissions, commentary, and tracking of risks and opportunities.
* Monitor financial performance and variance analysis to support decision-making.
P&L Management & Stakeholder Engagement
* Manage the Production HQ P&L, including HQ costs and cost centre oversight
* Partner with business support leads to manage their respective cost centres effectively
* Work closely with the Public Service Broadcaster on annual Service License Agreements (SLAs)
Strategic Projects & Process Improvement
* Lead and drive strategic projects or process improvements within Production Finance as needed
* Identify opportunities to enhance financial operations and reporting
Leadership & Team Management
* Lead and provide line management for one Finance Manager and one Analyst
* Foster a high-performance culture, supporting team development and growth
Ad Hoc Support & Business Partnering
* Act as the key point of contact for various ad hoc financial and business requests for Production
* Collaborate cross-functionally to provide insights and support decision-making
WHAT DOES IT TAKE?
ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:
* Proven experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably within productions or a related industry.
* ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified
* Strong ability to interpret financial data and translate insights into strategic actions.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior leadership.
* Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
* Proficiency in financial modelling
* Strong Excel skills
DESIRABLE CRITERIA:
* Power BI skills advantageous
