About the role
A Dyson stylist is more than just a salesperson; People are attached to their hair, and not just literally, but emotionally too. How your hair looks has an impact on a personal level – how you feel, how you act, and who you are. That’s why we go to the lengths we do to make it look good. It’s not just about better machines and sleeker fixtures. It’s about image, expertise, and an obsession with making people look good.
At Dyson, we sell by demonstrating. Through our growing network of Dyson Demo Stores and retail spaces, we simply explain how our technology works, and why it’s better. Our Stylists are Dyson advocates who know our technology inside out and are excited by it. This is done through the active demonstration of the Dyson Supersonic, Airwrap, and Corrale in our stores.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Captivating customers through live demonstrations of the remarkable features of our Dyson Supersonic, Airwrap, and Corrale products.
2. Delivering an authentic and premium customer experience to solidify Dyson's position as a leader in the haircare industry.
3. Striving to achieve quarterly targets to fulfill your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
4. Engaging with customers by providing styling demonstrations in-store and organizing special events.
5. Proactively assessing individual haircare needs of customers, showcasing the appropriate Dyson product range, and cross-selling when opportunities arise.
About you
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
1. Previous experience in a hair salon or similar role is a must.
2. Prior retail experience, preferably in the beauty sector.
3. Enthusiasm and passion for our Dyson hair technology.
4. Ambition, taking ownership of your performance and driving results.
5. The ability to act as a genuine brand ambassador, adept at identifying opportunities and effectively communicating with a diverse range of stakeholders through both digital and physical platforms.
6. Outstanding communication skills and a deep commitment to delivering a top-notch customer experience.
7. The capacity to coach and train others, imparting knowledge about the key advantages of Dyson haircare.
