Job summary The ideal candidate will have a passion for social work, enabling effective integrated working, promoting independence through reablement approaches and safeguarding vulnerable adults in Salford. Main duties of the job You will be a skilled, effective practitioner acting with considerable autonomy. You may have in depth knowledge and skill in one or more fields of practice which may have been developed through a formal post, qualifying training and/or development activity. You will have the opportunity to undertake Practice Educator training and support student Social Workers. You will have the opportunity to undertake a postgraduate qualification and/or role in specialised practice e.g., AMHP, BIA. You will need to have the ability to integrate professional knowledge, the views of people using services and research/evaluation evidence routinely in your practice. At experienced level, you will need to demonstrate expert and effective practice in complex situations, assessing and managing higher levels of risk while promoting enablement and self-determination.
