Job Description
Reporting to the Master, the GP Rating provides support for the safe and efficient running of the vessel. More information on the vessel can be viewed at .
Your Main Tasks:
13. Safety of the ship including acting as a lookout in accordance with the MCA Regulations
14. To ensure that the cleaning and maintenance of all areas of the vessel are adequately completed
15. Assisting engineering staff as required
16. Ensuring the completion and correct reporting of planned maintenance tasks as directed by mate or engineer
17. Carrying out duties as watchman as required
18. Anchoring work and mooring
19. Carrying out such other duties as directed by the Master
20. Carrying out galley duties as directed by the Master
21. To be competent in the use of all deck equipment (crane, RIB, anchor windlass etc.)
22. To act as Coxswain of the RIB as directed
23. To ensure that all adequate paperwork is completed as and when required
Required Knowledge and Experience to make your mark in this role:

27. Vessels are run in line with requirements of Company, Client and in adherence to regulations
28. A level of safety awareness in crews compliance and in accordance with Company procedures
29. The ability to maintain and achieve safety related KPI’s
30. The ability to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
31. RYA Powerboat Level 2
32. Mandatory NINA training
Other essential requirements
33. 3 years UK residency
34. Full driving licence
35. Current passport
36. Able to work on a liveaboard vessel on a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation
