Job Description
The purpose of Operations Manager is to inspire and deliver the Hotel’s operational objectives by leading from the front with a hands-on approach, developing the team, creating excellent customer service and a rewarding and exciting place to work for the team.

About Us
Hotel Indigo, York is a unique and trendy hotel set in the heart of York. The hotel boasts 103 unique bedrooms, with a funky restaurant and bar named No.88 Walmgate.
The team is passionate, enthusiastic, and very energetic! The culture in the hotel is very important to us, and that is; trying to deliver the Hotel’s goals and objectives whilst at the same time creating a fun and great work/life balance for all!
York Train station is easily accessible, the hotel is a 12 minute walk from the Train Station. There are plenty of drop off points all throughout York for bus routes in and out of the city, with a main bus route running past the hotel on Walmgate.
Role in our Family
As an Operations Manager, key to your role is:
* To ensure the Brand Standards are followed so that the guests experience
* Deputise the General Manager in their absence
* Ensure excellent quality and service, achieving the Brand expectations and metrics
* Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are followed and adhered to
* A hands-on approach to leading and developing the Heads of Departments.
* Focus on driving and leading the F&B team to drive revenue and guest service
* To be actively seeking Revenue generating ideas, and putting these into practice and driving revenue from the Food and Beverage outlet.
* To be able to deliver and achieve cost targets set out by the General Manager, Guest Supplies, Payroll, departmental spends, Food and Beverage Margins.
* Inspire and support the team to ensure all guests leave the hotel feeling like they have had the best experience possible.
