Post: Associate Practice Educator (Band 4)

1 x 18.75 hrs posts fixed term/secondment (12 months)
An excellent opportunity has arisen for experienced, ambitious Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to join the Health and Social Care Partnerships Practice Education and Development team within NHS Grampian covering North Aberdeenshire on a one year temporary basis, with the hope to extend to permanent.
Working as an Associate Practice Educator, you will be directly involved in supporting work-based learning for HCSWs across NHS Grampian. A key part of the role will be to support the co-ordination and delivery of an enhanced HCSW induction and clinical skills pathways.
The Successful Candidate Will Have
* Extensive experience as a HCSW
* Proven interest and experience in supporting education, training or professional development
* Educated to SCQF Level 7 or equivalent
* Familiarity with and ability to use Power Point, Excel, Word, and TURAS Learn
The successful candidate will be supported to develop their facilitation, coaching and leadership skills. They will have professional supervision and access to a wide network of practice educators, including other Associate Practice Educators within NHS Grampian.
