In this vital role, you will work closely with consultants and medical staff, ensuring an efficient and high-quality administrative service that directly impacts patient care. Main duties of the job Provide a comprehensive, high-quality, and efficient theatre scheduling service for Consultant Surgeons. Manage day-to-day workload independently, prioritizing tasks and resolving issues promptly as directed by the Theatre Coordinator. Contact patients to inform them of procedure dates and refer them to the relevant clinical team for additional information if needed. Ensure that patients receive their surgical interventions within appropriate timeframes based on clinical need and Trust priorities, and book perioperative assessments in advance of surgery.
