Job Title: HR & Payroll Systems Administrator
Salary: Up to £33,000
Location: Hybrid - Worcester
Contract type: Permanent/Full time
In this role, you will be joining an expert HR & Payroll systems team within a business services provider company that provides excellent service to their clients and other internal and external customers. You will be supported throughout your onboarding and training, but experience of working with Oracle and iTrent is desirable, as is some knowledge of HR/Payroll processes.
The role provides comprehensive support and systems administration for Oracle and iTrent HR/Payroll System within a busy client and customer relationship.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
* Day to day management of the HR Payroll Systems
* Answering client queries related to HR Payroll Systems
* Diagnosing and resolving problems within the clients HR systems
* Working within the System Team to support system upgrades, Requests for Change and System Enhancements
* Onboard new HR & Payroll customers
* Some travel to client sites will be required
* Report writing and running, in Oracle and Business Objects
* Design, develop and present training materials and user guides as functionalities are added
* Support the HR Payroll Portal
* Administer change, governance, controls to ensure safe change & release of quarterly releases
* Configure new functionality and fix issues in the system
Essential Skills and Attributes:
* Experience working with Oracle and iTrent and developing Business Objects reports
* Excellent command of MS Excel for reporting and analysing pension/payroll data
* English and Mathematics at GCSE Level or equivalent (Grades A-C Minimum only)
* Good understanding of HR or Payroll policy, process, and experience of working within a HR/Payroll system
* Extensive experience in providing system administration support and development
* Analytical approach to problem solving and good team player
* Excellent interpersonal skills; customer-focused with the ability to establish good working relationships
* Good overall knowledge of top-level associated processes impacting payroll across Oracle Fusion Module
* Some experience of working in the public or education sector would be an advantage.
