We currently have a vacancy in our Newry Office for a HR Manager UK & Ireland
Location : Newry, Greenbank Industrial Estate
Hours : 37 hours per week (Monday – Friday)
Reports to : Regional HR Manager Northern Europe
Salary : Competitive
Benefits : 6% company pension contribution, healthcare coverage for the employee, 32 holidays per year
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced HR Manager to join our team at the Newry Office. This is a role that will play a key part in implementing our HR strategies, ensuring alignment with our business goals and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Talent Management : Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to secure top industry talent.
* Change Agent : Act as a key driver of change by identifying opportunities for improvement, guiding transformation efforts, and ensuring smooth transitions across all levels of the organisation.
* Employee Engagement : Promote a positive workplace culture and effectively manage employee relations and concerns.
* Compliance & Legal : Ensure all HR practices adhere to relevant UK and NI employment laws and regulations.
* Performance & Development : Identify training needs and coordinate development programs to advance skills.
* Employee Relations & Discipline : Address employee grievances, manage disciplinary matters, and provide support through HR metrics and reporting.
* Compensation & Benefits: Assist with our outsourced payroll provider and take responsibility for the administration of pensions and other employee benefits. Oversee compensation plans and benefits programs, ensuring they remain competitive within the marketplace.
* Internal Communication : Collaborate with senior leadership to establish employee work groups and streamline communication and reporting structures
* Health& Safety – Promote a safety culture throughout the company through our Zero Harm initiatives.
What we are looking for :
We are seeking a candidate with strong HR expertise and a track record of success in similar roles. The ideal person will have:
* A degree in HR Management or a related field and/or CIPD qualification.
* Proven experience in an HR advisory or management role.
* A solid understanding of UK and Northern Ireland employment legislation.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations professionally.
* Proficiency in Office Applications.
* The ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
* Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally to other UK sites.
* A proactive mindset with a genuine passion for people development and organisational success.
