We are recruiting for an experienced Commercial Sales Manager for a leading fabricator and installer of architectural aluminium glazing, specialising in commercial doors, windows and curtain walling. Operating across the East and West Midlands, they pride themselves on delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to a diverse client base.
This role will focus on building and developing client relationships, driving sales, and contributing to the continued growth of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of aluminium systems and proven experience in the glazing or related industries.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial aluminium glazing market.
2. Manage existing client accounts, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
3. Provide technical sales advice and accurate estimating to meet client needs.
4. Oversee project sign-offs and attend prestart meetings to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure project specifications are achievable and aligned with client expectations.
6. Use and understand Logikal software for estimating and project management.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven experience in technical sales/estimating within the construction or glazing industry.
2. Strong knowledge of aluminium systems (e.g., commercial doors, windows, curtain walling).
3. Excellent relationship-building and development skills.
4. Demonstrated commercial awareness with the ability to manage budgets and negotiate effectively.
