Job Advertisement: 1-1 Teaching Assistant – Alternative Provision (Liverpool)
Are you passionate about making a difference in a young person's life? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1-1 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and collaborative team in an alternative provision setting in Liverpool.
The Role
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting a student on a 1-1 basis, helping them to overcome barriers to education and build a positive and trusting relationship. This is a full-time position with the potential for a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities:
* Build strong, trustworthy relationships with the student, fostering a safe and comfortable learning environment.
* Provide emotional and educational support to help the student re-engage with their education.
* Work closely with the wider team to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.
* Encourage and motivate the student to achieve their personal and academic goals.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
* Be empathetic, patient, and able to connect with young people.
* Have experience in a similar role or working with children with additional needs.
* Be committed to creating a positive and nurturing learning experience.
* Work effectively as part of a team, contributing to the supportive environment within the provision.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
