Robert Shaw Primary & Nursery School is seeking to appoint 2 x Level 1 Teaching Assistants to support the class teacher with teaching and learning in the classroom and contribute to the management of pupil behaviour by encouraging positive behaviour in the classroom.
This is a fixed term contract due to additional SEND funding.

The role will include supporting pupils with additional learning needs and providing one-to-one support for named children with Special Educational Needs, behaviour issues, or a medical condition.
You will:
1. have the patience to provide one-to-one support to children with complex needs;
2. be creative in your approach to learning and delivering the curriculum;
3. have high expectations of pupils’ achievements and a commitment to excellent standards;
4. work well as part of a team;
5. be literate and numerate;
6. be enthusiastic, energetic, and committed to making learning exciting;
7. have excellent communication skills with children and adults.
