As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for project delivery, profit & loss accountability, and customer satisfaction through management of project-related activities and resources.
In this role, you will be in charge of:
1. Working alone, without supervision, but reporting to the Snr Project Manager daily to deliver requirements.
2. Being the primary customer contact for the duration of each project. Work with Sales, Field Operations, and other support functions to coordinate project development, implementation, and control, considering customer specifications, cost-effectiveness, company technical/engineering procedures, safety, and optimum quality standards.
3. Communicating the PO status to the relevant personnel.
4. Ensuring that all subordinates are fully briefed on the work scope, their duties, the risks, and that all tasks are carried out safely and comply with all BH and customer’s HSE and QA standards and procedures.
5. Participating in pre-job briefing and ensuring familiarization with the work scopes.
6. Being responsible for all financial aspects of project management, including establishing systems to regularly review costs, invoicing, and cash collection.
7. Understanding and ensuring compliance with your contracts.
8. Identifying opportunities to expand the project in ways that bring value to our customer and satisfy our profitability requirements.
9. Ensuring that delivered services achieve the highest quality and performance levels.
10. Responding rapidly to technical and commercial queries from customers, shop, & field service personnel.
11. Developing and maintaining good customer relationships using solid communication skills.
12. Resolving problems post-project closure to ensure customer satisfaction.
13. Supporting Baker Hughes PPS bases if required in Europe/Africa.
Fuel your passion:
To be successful in this role you will:
1. A degree (or equivalent) in an Engineering subject.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the industry.
3. Project Management experience is essential.
4. Process and Pipeline experience is essential.
5. Offshore experience is essential for this role.
6. Good computer skills.
7. Must be a self-starter and natural leader who is capable of working with little to no supervision.
8. Excellent safety attitude is a must. Must participate in all Company safety programs and adhere to all policies.
